Peter has over 25 years’ experience
in the acoustics industry, and founded Hepworth Acoustics
in 1990. He is a Member of the Institute of Acoustics,
and holds a BSc(Hons) in Environmental Studies and a Diploma
in Acoustics and Noise Control. He has published papers
on a wide range of topics, including the influential “Merseyside
Noise Study”. His particular passion in
the acoustics field lies in Public Inquiries. On a more
personal note, his favourite colour is brick red, he likes
living in the city and relaxing in the sun on holiday.
His dream is to learn to play a keyboard. |

Bassett

Paul has worked in the acoustics
industry for over 20 years, and has been a member of Hepworth
Acoustics Ltd since 1992. He is a member of the Institute
of Acoustics. Paul has a BSc in Environmental Science,
an Institute of Acoustics Diploma in Acoustics and
Noise Control and an MSc in Environmental Acoustics.
He has written and presented a number of papers. His particular
passion within the acoustics field lies in the assessment
and control of tonal noise from industry. On a personal
note, his favourite colour is red and he prefers living
in the country. His dream is to write a book. |

Brown

Paul has worked in the acoustics
industry, and in Hepworth Acoustics, since 1990. He is
a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and
holds a BA and an ACA. His favourite colour is tropical
sea blue, he prefers to live in neither the city not the
country, but in ‘rurity’. He would choose a
sunshine holiday over snow, and his dream is to
score a hole in one. |
Matthew
Gascoigne

Matthew joined Hepworth Acoustics in 1998 and has worked in the acoustics industry since 1995 (after 10 years as a civil engineer). His professional memberships include MICE and MIOA. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Engineering Science and a Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control and is a Chartered Engineer. He has written a paper on “Verification of a Computer-Based Room Acoustics Model and its Use in Optimising Acoustic Performance”. He has three grown up children. When they were younger, the whole family lived in Japan for three years and learnt Japanese. Matthew prefers a rural lifestyle, and he likes to holiday in the mountains. His dream: “I would like to walk the whole of the Pennine Way. I have done bits of it in the past but there are a lot of sections I haven’t seen.” |
