We have carried out a range of research projects for private companies, local authorities and central government since the early 1990s. The results of these projects have been used to inform central and local government policy, European Union guidance and private business activities.

The work varies from heading multi-national consortia assessing the accuracy implications for noise mapping of guidance provided in the EU Working Group on the Assessment of Exposure to Noise 'Good Practice Guide', to small scale investigations into the efficacy in reducing impact noise of a different types of rebound boards at outdoor five a side football pitches.

We have the resources to investigate a diverse range of noise sources, and specialist sub-contractors are brought in to assist as required. This can cover specialists in a particular acoustic specialism, foreign consultants with a specific knowledge of the application of non-UK standards, or consultants such as market research or environmental consultancies to provide the additional skills required for the project.

Our careful consideration of project briefs and our detailed tender proposals means that we have an enviable record of always meeting project deadlines and staying within budget.
