Problem

A newly-built hotel in Plymouth required airborne and impact sound insulation testing in order to ensure that the performance of party walls and floors for the hotel bedrooms complied with all current Building Regulations

Solution

Hepworth Acoustics Ltd carried out systematic airborne and sound insulation tests on a sample of party walls and floors in and between bedrooms throughout the new development.

Benefit

The clients were provided with a full and thorough survey of the sound insulation provision in the new hotel, and were able to provide documentary proof of their compliance with all current Building Regulations for airborne and impact sound insulation.
